10 Boot Styles You Need in Your Closet Right Now

Any “basic” girl can attest that boots are a one of the best parts about the fall and winter season. Thigh-high, wedges, fur-lined, booties… With so many different styles to choose from, it’s hard to settle on which is best. One thing is for sure though: we need them all. Well, not all of them, but I do believe it’s a good idea to have several different styles of boots to mix with during the season. Here are some of the styles we adore and that you can find when you shop at our location!

Laser Cut

Whether the pattern is simple or a tad more complex, a laser cut boot is a great way to add some flare to your outfit.

Suede Heels

A suede heeled boot dresses up your look for a night out, while still keeping your toes warm. Pair it with your favorite maxi dress for a touch of sophistication.

In October, the site Man Repeller posted an article wondering, “Are Cowboy Boots Happening?” That’s not a problem for us in south, because they’re always happening.

Fur Lined

Even a pair of faux fur lined boots such as these add warmth and coziness to your look. To be honest, every time I wear fur lined boots I feel as if I’m about to hunt through the woods for my next kill. The whole point of fashion is to feel like a more confident version of yourself and I’m not sure what’s more confident than feeling like you’re ready to take down a bear with a spear.

Wedges are a happy medium for those of us who want to add some hight to our look, but also consider heels to be a death trap. Viola from She’s the Man put it best when she said, “Heels are a male invention to make a woman’s butt look smaller… and to make it harder for them to run away.”

If you’re looking to add some edge to your look, basically anything studded is the way to go. I’ve seen studs added to everything – jackets, blouses, purses – so why should boots be any different?

Lace-Up Heels

Is it just me, or is there something inherently sexy about a lace-up heel? “Why yes, I did tie these on my own. Thanks for noticing.” *wink*

Add a pair of thigh-high boots with a mini skirt or dress, and you’ve pretty much eliminated any need for leggings.

Metal Accents

Switch up your classic black bootie for one with metal accents to make a statement. Bonus: they’ll still go with everything!

No matter what style phase I may be going through, I always have a solid pair of combat boots in my closet. They’re cute, casual and always on trend!

  1. I LOVE laser cut boots! So glad to see them on your roundup. I make laser cut jewelry, so I’m sooo obsessed with any products that are laser cut and wish I had the ability to design and make it all!
