As of right now, the weather is being a little indecisive about what season we’re in, but nonetheless it is officially sweater weather! We have all of our sweaters out on the floor now, so I riffled through them to find the perfect one to style for this Outfit of the Week post. In other words, I was hunting for something cozy, yet lightweight and breathable for those mornings and evenings when the weather may be a bit chilly, but is warm during noon. I think it goes without saying that I found exactly what I was looking for.

I like my sweaters to be a bit baggy and this one by Fate in a size large fits the bill. The back of it has an opening on both sides, so I paired it with it with a bralette with a criss-cross back. The dark green sleeves are a lovely autumnal color and break up the dark gray and black tones. I tucked it into a high-waisted faux leather mini skirt to make it look more pulled together and less baggy. This mini skirt is from Hollister in a size medium and priced at only $10.

For shoes and accessories, I decided to go with a pair of high-heeled booties and a long dangling necklace. Although a pair of knee-high and thigh high boots would also suit this look, I thought a pair of booties would not only elongate my figure, but the thick heels would give this a more urban look. The shoes are from Madden Girl in a size 8 for $16 and the necklace is priced at $6. As for my bag, you may notice it from my wardrobe haul so it’s no longer for sale, but you can usually find other fringe purses at our location for a great price! All of these items will be back in store next week, so look out for them on our new arrivals rack at the front of the store.
